Lately I’ve been asked a lot about the soft vintage tones I get in my pictures. The tones I got in pictures like this I got them from this action by Apples and Sisters, Warm Sepia. This little action has become my all-time fave for fast vintage processing and now I use it for every single picture I take.

-This action is part of our actions' set High Contrast. We're giving away this action for free but the rest of the set is premium and it's only available over at the Apples and Sisters Resources website.

-This action and the rest of the High Contrast set was especially designed to achieve excellent quality on SLR/DSLR images - you can use these actions for all your images, even images taken with point-and-shoot cameras but please keep in mind that you'll get top-quality, professional results using these actions on SLR/DSLR pictures.
-The action was made in Photoshop CS2, and it's compatible with Photoshop CS, CS2, CS3 and CS4. This action was never tested in Photoshop 7 or earlier versions – if you give it a go and it works, please let us know.

And now, a couple secrets about this action:
-If you want to get stronger tones but keep it vintage all in the same movement, after running the action go to image > apply image > soft light 65%
-If you want to get a much more creamy sepia effect with stronger lighting, run the action and then go to image > apply image > soft light 50% > finally run the same action again and that’s it.
